Do I register for workshops?
If you plan to attend a workshop, it helps to register beforehand by calling the workshop coordinator at (360-413-0905). Leave a message including:
- The name and date of the workshop
- Your name and phone number
- Address (with ZIP code) if you wish to be on our mailing list
- Your e-mail address if you have one
This also helps if there are changes in the workshop, and its facilitator(s) need to reach you.
Art Workshops carry a small donation-fee of $5 per workshop, collected at the workshop, to cover the cost of supplies. Luminary Workshop costs start at $12 and go up depending on the size of your project. Music and Dance Workshops have a one-time only $10 donation-fee per group with 100% of the proceeds going to the Procession of the Species with the exception of Samba Olywa which carries a $5 per workshop donation-fee with 60% of the proceeds going to the Procession. Thank you for paying as you sign in. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Workshop Locations
The Procession Community Art Studio is in the Olympia Press building, 120 Capitol Way. Access is in the alley connecting Washington and Capitol. Please be advised that there is only street parking available, there is no parking allowed in the Capitol Way lot or in the alley, 24 hours a day every day. No exceptions, no mercy. They will tow and it costs $240.
Luminary Art Studio & Earthbound Productions Office is at 311 Capitol Way behind the Royal Bocce Bar. Access is in the alley connecting Columbia and Capitol.
Procession Music and Dance Studio (aka Cherry Street Studio, aka Blue Door Studio) is located upstairs at 525 Cherry Street SE, on the corner of Cherry and Legion.
