2025 STUDIO CLEANUP

Cleanup parties!!! Yes, it's an effort. And yes, we'll make it fun. But the bottom line is simple — it's a chore that must be done. Your participation will be greatly appreciated.

Please contact us (OlympiaProcession@gmail.com) if you can also provide a truck or trailer to assist with load-out. We have a narrow time window to get stuff into the warehouse, so the fewer trips (i.e., the more vehicles), the better!

May 7, 8, & 9 | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3:30 pm to 8 pm

Dismantling Armory Studio (batik, luminary, donated supplies, paint, worktables, drying room, etc.) and cleaning and organizing Annex Studio for Saturday's Procession Float Review

May 21, 22, & 23 | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3:30 pm to 8 pm

Packing-up the Armory Studio (batik, luminary, supply, paint, worktables, drying room, etc.), dismantling floats, and packing-up the Annex Workspace Studio

May 28, 29, & 30 | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Load-out: Noon to 3 pm | Last cleanup: 3-6 pm

Truck load-out to the Storage Warehouse. Studio floor tarps removal. Small truck load-out of tables and totes on Wednesday. Large truck load-out of floats, cabinets, etc. on Thursday & Friday (all depending on amount of clean-up remaining).

Saturday, May 10 noon to 5 pm

You are invited to stroll through the Procession Community Art Studio for a close-up review of the large colorful floats seen in this year's Procession of the Species Celebration!

So whether taking a photo alongside the lion or perhaps helping the large butterfly fly, drop by for a visit and see where the magic still resides! Located at the Olympia Armory Creative Campus, this free event is the Procession's closing display before everything is carted off and stored away! All ages welcome!

This year’s Procession has been one of the most magical ever, and the Olympia Armory studio space has been the deep taproot of that Magic. Please join us in saying goodbye to this glorious home of the last two years, and bidding our beloved Procession critters a good long sleep as they go into their 10-month hibernation.
