The Procession of the Species starts at 4:30 pm, rain or shine!

PRODUCTION CREW SCHEDULE
Below is the schedule for the Production Crew on the day of the Procession of the Species. Feel free to jump in and help anytime if you want!
9:00 am – Studio opens with coffee and pastries
9:30 am – Logistics Meeting for all volunteers
10:00 am – Final completion of projects; preparation of logistic assignments
11:00 am – Registration tables, signage, element signs, chalk buckets driven to Procession starting point
12:00 pm – All Procession art leaves the studio, creatures on carts are pulled to assigned element blocks
2:00 pm – Chalk in buckets is delivered on the streets
3:00 pm - STUDIO CLOSES – Move all remaining projects left in the studio to the assembly point
3:30 – Registration opens. Public assembles on Legion Way and Cherry between Jefferson & Chestnut in downtown Olympia. Windsocks and spangles are handed out.
4:30 pm - Procession begins – rain or shine!
6:00 pm - Procession ends at Heritage Park Fountain for closing celebration
6:30 pm – Load up & load out of Procession carts and Procession art back to the Art Studio
9:00 pm – Art Studio closes
